    • Marlenemiddleton

      Im coming from Oxford

  • giantsomBrerO O M

Will I be able to come in with my official Bassnectar Camelbak ?

    • Marlenemiddleton

      if its empty i believe.

    • In the above info it states,
“Water bottles and CamelBaks not permitted”

  • Trevor Gant

hey i have a friend who needs a ride from oxford to the show.. hit me up if you can help out

  • Craigcarreira

this is my birthday bash the bass gods have blessed me nectar playing 2 hours away from me on my fucking birthday plzzzzzzzzzzz plzzzzzzzzz plzzzzzzzzzz drop basshead an LSD

  • Tikisunris

Just a small rant~ I just called Boutwell Auditorium and asked about bringing in empty Camelbak’s. I was told “Per the director they would not be allowed.” It is RIDICULOUS that a facility wont allow an empty camelbak, in my opinion.  So, I asked if water would be available and the lady said “It will be available at the concession area for purchase”. I asked if they had water fountains at the facility. I was told “If we have them, they will not be available. You will have to buy water at the concession stand.” I can not even BELIEVE that a facility would risk having attendees falling out for lack of hydration and forcing us to purchase bottled water. First, bottled water is not environmentally friendly and the whole principle behind their practice makes my stomach crawl. I understand there are “rules” at every facility but to put so many people at risk because they want to make even more money off the attendees makes my blood boil just a little bit. Guess I’ll just plan to bring as much extra $$ as we can to buy water and maybe have enough to share with others who may not have the extra cash on hand.

    • We’re doing what we can to make water available, and Ambassadors will be giving out water as per usual, although we appreciate that doesn’t cover everyone!

      • Tikisunris

I was just dumbfounded when I called and got that response. It’s probably not nearly as big of a deal to anyone but me and I probably should have kept that negative reactionary vibe to myself. I want to call back and ask about LED Hula Hoops but I don’t want to be disappointed again if they say “no” so I figure i’m just going to be super thankful i’m even able to attend and focus on what an amazing time I know we will have in Bham! Our last Bassnectar show was in Nashville NYE. FANTABULOUS!!!

        • I’ve made sure to quote the conversation you had in our dialogue about this issue – thanks for letting us know.

        • I’d love to bring my hoop as well but considering this is an indoor venue, it’s a bad idea.

          • I’d call and ask – they may just be permitted. It’s not really a bad idea at an indoor venue for there is usually hoop space in the back. Almost every indoor nectar show I’ve been too there have been about 4 or 5 hoops.

          • Tikisunris

I called this morning and they said they would permit hoops. 🙂 yay!!

          • get yo hoop on !

    • agreed! camelbaks are a nessesity!! what are they going to do next cut the sinks off?

    • Campiss

these “rules” on camlebacks are coming from the bassnectar crew. I called boutwell and that is what they said. bottled water are you kidding me that is outrageous and wasteful. bassnectar crew you are fucking up here there will be miles of I.V tubes and ambulances

      • You have been misinformed. We are doing everything we can to get the venue to allow CamelBaks or empty water bottles etc.

        • campiss

Well I’m glad but this is just what Boutwell has told me when i called them. guess they are trying to hide the fact they want to charge for water.

  • BassJunkie

In 2010, I bought a ticket for $17 in Tuscaloosa to see you perform. It’s only been two years since then and your tickets are now $45. That is absolutely ridiculous. I understand that Bassnectar has
evolved and has become a large scale production but good grief. Since when has underground music ever cost $45 a show?

    • Eviio

It has cost $45 dollars ever since Bassnectar started selling out 10,000 capacity venues each night. Never would I ever consider this “underground” music. It may have been so two years ago, but no longer. It’s not underground music dude – therefore you don’t get to pay an ‘underground’ price.

  • Tikisunris

So, I have a question about Boutwell maybe someone can answer for me. Never been to the venue and we purchased GA tickets… are we going to need to be early to stand in line to get a wristband to be on the floor or is the entire venue floor space with no seats? any help would be much appreciated!!

    • Joonby

I’m curious about this one too.  I’ve overlooked the fine print before and didn’t know the wristbands were offered – got stuck in the stands.  Please let us know, thank you so much!!

    • Jdtinsley40

      Was this ever answered?

  • Bassinyoface

Are glowsticks permitted? And what else is permitted? Are Camelbaks and water bottles just prohibited?

    Thank you.

    • Glowsticks are never permitted at any Bassnectar event. They’re wasteful (only one time use), and Lorin has had them thrown at him on stage.
as stated in the above info:
Bags and cameras permitted. Water bottles and CamelBaks not permitted, totems not permitted

positive attitude and friendly vibes are permitted as well.
      enjoy your show 🙂
