FUCK YEAH! I’ve been waiting for this!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=501355149 Danielle Palmer

Just bought 2 tickets to go. Going to be amazing!

    • http://www.facebook.com/c.obermaier89 Cody Obie Obermaier

For the front, I would prolly show up a lil before doors open.. I went to his last show in Madison and got about 6 people back from the front by just sayin excuse me and there was no problems…

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=501355149 Danielle Palmer

I know with this show you have to show up to get a wristband to be on the floor. They start handing them out at 10am. So we will be there early and be hanging out at the Irish pub around the corner for most of the day. (2 of us work full time in one so it is like our second home) We are driving about 4 1/2 hours for the show (5 of us) from Iowa, so want to make the best out of it and front row is always the best! Nothing like whomping bass in your chest.

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Your best bet for the wine is to take it to the merch stand and ask that they give it to Lorin after the show. Or you can try and give it to him at the end of the show when he comes down the front to meet people (but then you’ll have to beat the line to the cloakroom at the end, or keep it on you all night…)

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=501355149 Danielle Palmer

I just sent you an email. Maybe I can figure this out?

  • http://twitter.com/DyylanCoyer Dylan Coyer

Is it with Zedd or Zeds Dead? This page says one, but the ticket page says another.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Zedd all the way, must have been a typo on the ticketing site. This tour is brought to you by the letters “B”, “G” and “Z”.

  • pacowaka

Will this be worth driving 6-7 hours from Upper Michigan? OH YEAAH!

    • Colleen

o ya!!! sa ya to da UP, eh

      • pacowaka

That just made my day :D

        • Colleen

UP bassheads make my day! :) mitten love

    • ME!)(

Where u from? I’m in Marquette. Get a mo fuggin car pool goin??

      • pacowaka

It would be cool but sadly i don’t think will be able to work out. :(
We are going to be making a lot of stops along the way to see some relatives.

  • http://www.facebook.com/Insphyre.Exuro Exuro Piechocki

Will target center be serving alcohol? Will there be a dance floor? Will there be a ban on glowsticks? These are my determining factors. I’m trying to party, not babysit tweens.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=501355149 Danielle Palmer

Why… ” not babysit tweens” Exuro, if they need some help or a high five or whatever, fucking give it to them. :) They are there to enjoy the show just like you or me or anyone else. Don’t be so selfish. Everyone goes for their own reasons you go to party, I go to … hell haven’t figured it out other then I like the music and Lorin as a person. But still just be cool and helpful to people. It will make it a awesome show for everyone including your self.

      • Brandon

Thank you for this comment Danielle…. All we want is positive vibes for this show not people like Exuro that are throwing negatives waves out there

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Consider the ban of glowsticks are permanent fixture :) Seating will probably be moved if there is any, and I would imagine there will be a bar, will try and find out.

      • Tony

Did you find anything out on the full bar? Or will it just be like the normal beer, wine, etc.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

GA Floor, alcohol will be served, glowsticks not allowed as always – done moaning? :)

  • Jeb

Is this a Bass Center, because this venue is !enormous! and Zedd is not playing any other shows with lorin?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Not a Bass Center, just a big show! Yup this is the only Zedd date on the tour, should be a killer!

  • pacowaka

will they be selling ear plugs?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

We give out earplugs free at our shows but if you know you will need them, I would bring your own just to be 100% you have them on hand when the bass hits.

      • pacowaka

        ok thx.

  • ryan fleming

is there a rule on camelbacks?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Yup, you can bring sealed water bottles and empty camelbacks.

  • Danielle

I’ll be 6 months pregnant. Will it be a bad idea to attend? I have been waiting to make it to a show forever now, and I finally live down here now. So will it be too insane for the baby bump?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

They have those warning signs that the pregnant or those with heart conditions shouldn’t get on rollercoasters, so I’d apply that same logic to a Bassnectar show, as it will be hectic, loud, and intense, and you could get knocked into or jolted.

I guess if you stay out of the crowd and away from the speakers you might be OK, but that’s not an official endorsement by ANY means. Try calling the venue who I imagine have a policy about this sort of thing: (612) 673-1600

      Anyone else have an opinion?

      • Colleen

        basically what you said.

supposed experts say the occasional concert should not be the end of the world, but also that it’s not quite the ideal environment for a growing baby or a six-month pregnant lady. here’s what some googling took me to on this subject — http://www.babycenter.com/406_is-it-safe-to-go-to-a-rock-concert-when-im-pregnant_1245283.bc

i’d probably be moody and hungry and overheating and want to get the hell out. but if your heart is set on it, just get really hydrated and stay way to the back!

I have a good question. I heard that in order to get on the floor you have to show up at the target center at 10 am to acquire a wrist band. Now is this true? And will you have to pay extra for the wrist band?????????

    • Colleen

GA floor and all you have to pay for is the ticket

      • Toleraen

Hey Colleen, I hate to be redundant but I just want to make sure that there will be no wrist bands for this show, that everyone will be on the floor, and no one will be in the seats. This is my first Bassnectar show and I can’t wait, thanks!

        • Colleen

it’s all general admission/standing room so i don’t believe there will be wristbands

        • Colleen

all tickets are general admission, but wristbands will be distributed for floor access on a
first come first serve basis. wristbanding will begin at 10am, doors open at 6:30

  • Mike Solano

Out of curiosity, will PK Sound be providing the sound? *crosses fingers* :)

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

I don’t think so. I believe we parted ways, amicably. Don’t know what happened but I would guess it’s because they could not scale to match the growth of our events. Those guys absolutely kill it though, that’s for sure.

      • Alex Kohlman

        Who provides the sound now?:)

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

RAT SOUND on tour, and local vendors for special events e.g. NYE

      • Colleen

it looks like PK sound is still doing the calgary show though
        http://www.facebook.com/events/404939606230851/

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Yup, just Calgary on this tour.

  • Danny

Hmmmm…. so, how exactly would one go about meeting Zedd before or after the show?

  • Taylor Tengwall

How does one procure ‘street team’ materials for promotions- i.e. flyers, official handouts, etc? Not for any personal benefit, just to spread the word and help make the event even more massive…

    • Colleen

please e-mail bassteam (at) bassnectar [dot] net to see if we could use your help
      thanks

  • Nolan Meyer

Is there a way to purchase tickets that isn’t through TicketMaster? They have sooo many surcharges and fees. It’s pretty ridiculous.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

You may be able to purchase them in person at the venues box office.

For future reference however, there is an allotment of tickets sold as soon as tickets go on sale for all Bassnectar events through our own inticketing system. These tickets don’t have the added ticketmaster fees and are the cheapest ones available. These go fast, though.

  • http://www.facebook.com/Waggz Patrick SledgeHammer Wagner

I am planning on bringing a Party Bus (30 people) from Duluth, MN. I was wondering if I could speak with a rep or tour manager about ticket will call, or perhaps buying a group rate on 30 tickets. What is the best way to go about this?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

Tickets are no longer being sold through Bassnectar’s inticketing, so you would have to go through TM to see if there is a group rate for 30.

      • http://www.facebook.com/Waggz Patrick SledgeHammer Wagner

        ok, thanks

        • Taylor Tengwall

          Much Love in Duluth!

  • Tony

Do you have to show your ticket to get a wristband and also is it only one per person or can I grab more than one for my whole group.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

Yes, you will have to present your ticket to receive a wristband. Wristbands are distributed on a first come first served basis. 1 ticket = 1 wristband.

      • Tony

        Thank You!

        • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

          Super welcome :)

      • wake up

What does the wristband get you?

        • Colleen

          access to the floor

          • wake up

            ok thanks :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/Waggz Patrick SledgeHammer Wagner

One More Question… Approximately how late do you think the show will go till… So I can plan for the Party Bus To Pick Us up and rage 2 hours north after the show!!!

    • Colleen

we only give end times if it’s an early show, which this is not, meaning it will go until midnight or later

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

it’ll be goin till midnight or later.
      Travel safe!

  • Nate J

Will there be a minimum age limit to be on the floor? I’m 16. Also, how early would you suggest getting there in the morning to be sure of a wristband for the floor?

    • Colleen

no age limit — floor is open to anyone with a wristband
wristbanding begins at 10am, so you can go secure a wristband as early as you find fitting

  • Ethan Holloway

Hey, so just curious. Does anyone know how long a concert like will go till? My guess was around like 1-2 a.m. correct me if I’m wrong please.

    • Taylor Tengwall

It will probably be done by Midnight at the latest

      • Taylor Tengwall

        Hopefully later though!!!!

  • Taylor Tengwall

Anyone who sees this, take a second to go on facebook and invite a grip of people, then theyll invite people, and so on… Let’s get this place packed!
    Heres the tickmaster page:

  • Brandon

Question—- Just making sure but in order to be on the floor and not in assigned seats i would have to show up the day of the show at 10 am, present my printed ticket, and then i would receive a wrist band at no extra charge? this is kind of confusing

    • Colleen

      that is correct

      • Brandon

        thanks alot. this helps alot!

        • Brandon

one more thing sorry. i can get a wrist band for floor access with just a regular general admission ticket correct?

          • Colleen

            yes. all tickets are GA

          • Cory

Can I get a wristband for my girlfriend that morning also or does she need to be with me?

          • Colleen

One ticket = one wristband, and the wristband goes on your wrist immediately. Otherwise you’d be able to use the same ticket for multiple wristbands. So she needs to be there.

          • http://www.facebook.com/andrei.rublev9 Andrei Rublev

http://disqus.com/colleenmcnasty/, what do you recommend for me in my situation:

I and my guest live about 100 miles away from Minneapolis. I will be in Minneapolis Sat morning, then I need to drive home, my friend has other committments during Saturday, and so we cannot leave to get to Minneapolis until about 5:30 PM, so we’d arrive at the Target Center around 7:30 PM. My original plan was, while I was in Minneapolis in the morning on Saturday, I’d pick up two wristbands for both of us. However, your answer an hour ago to Cory tells me I can’t do that, that we both have to be present to get a wristband for each of us. This is creating a horrendous logistical problem for us. What can we do in a situation like this, what do you recommend? Thanks in advance.

          • Colleen

can you bring cory with you to minneapolis saturday morning? that’s what i would recommend

          • http://www.facebook.com/andrei.rublev9 Andrei Rublev

            http://www.bassnectar.net/2012/07/2012-11-03-bassnectar-in-minneapolis-mn/# I don’t understand, I don’t know Cory…. My question is sincere.

          • someone31988

Looks like Colleen misunderstood. Try to bring your friend to Minneapolis in the morning to get the wristband is what was meant.

          • Cory

yeah I understand 1 ticket=1 wristband. I just didn’t know if I could bring her ticket with me. shoot..I wanna be on the floor!

    • Talia

Yup i had to do the same thing in TN for the NYE show …fyi be their early and i mean EARLY if you want to get the wrist band they only give so many out… It’s so worth it to be on the floor Good luck have fun waiting… And get your Bassface on :) it’s going to be EPIC

      • Brandon

Right on! So jacked for some true bass again. havent seen nectar since april last year in madtown

  • BASSIC

Would it be worth it driving from Madison, WI?

    • Colleen

Heck yes! Basshead road trips are A+ :)

    • http://twitter.com/bahaluna Jessica

yes. we’re driving from stevens point

  • Avery

So i’m a little confused. To get to be on the floor for the show, do I have to show up at the box at 10am or whenever and get a wristband? Or can I buy a GA ticket online?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

all tickets are general admission. Fans will be able to enjoy the experience from a variety of areas. Wristbands will be distributed for floor access on a first come first serve basis.
Venue staff will be handing out wristbands at the main entrance. Wristbanding will begin at 10am, with doors opening at 6:30pm.

You can go to the box office at any time starting at 10 a.m. to present your ticket and get a wristband. you then can go off and do as you please with doors opening for the event at 6:30. Wristband give out will cease when the floor capacity is filled.

  • tom techmanski

I am coming out from Colorado from for this show and I have been reading on here that wristbands will be handed out before the show. I have will call tickets that I bought from this site if I show my email conformation for my tickets would that be enough to get the wristband. If not is there a way i can pick up my tickets in time to also get a wristband?

  • Jack

I won’t be able to get wristbands right at 10 because of a prior engagment. Will there still be wristbands at 5 or 6ish? Also, could someone pick up our wristbands with our tickets? SO EXCITED FOR THIS! Zedd and Bassnectar together will be amazing!

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

      Hey Jack -
I can’t say for sure that wristbands will still be available at 5 or 6. All the shows I have attended this tour and the last ran out of wristbands a few hours after they started handing them out. This show could always be an exception, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up to have a definite spot on the floor. I can tell you though that if you are in the raised area, you should get a view that is straight facing the stage in the back. It’s an awesome view and you aren’t slightly turning your head/body the whole show (like you would if you were in the seated area to the right or left of stage). I think it’s honestly the best spot in the house, sometimes even better than any floor spot! You’ll have a great time no matter where you are :)

As for picking up other’s wristbands, I don’t believe that’s an option. When you hand them your ticket they will put the wristband on for you.

      • Jack

Is there anyway I could get wristbands earlier? Really want to get floor. Any other options? Could I have a group of people take our tickets and get them on their wrists, then transfer to us? Really looking for ANY WAY I can get a wristband.

        • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

Earlier than 10 a.m.? No that’s when the box office opens and starts handing them out, sorry.
I think your only option is to bring yourself with your ticket to receive your wristband. you aren’t allowed to tamper or alter the wristband or else they could deny you entry to the event.

          • Jack

One more question! Do you think because its a 20,000 capacity space that wristbands may be available later? Does anyone know the expected turn out or the amount of wristbands they’re giving away?

          • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

This show is not using the 20,000 capacity set up. I’m guessing it willl be around 6-8,000 total tickets if it sells out. Which it probably will the day of. I bet about 2,500 will get wristbands. The reason there is a cap on the floor is for safety reasons. If something happens to someone on the floor, there needs to be sufficient space to get to that person and take care of them. The building could get shut down if they don’t follow certain guidelines.

          • Jack

One last question! Do you think because it’s a 20,000 capacity venue that wristbands may be available later? Does anyone know how many they are giving out? Thanks for the help, just would like to find any way to get a wristband.

  • Connor

Any after party after the show?

  • cassandratuma

I tried buying tickets from ticketmaster and it locked me out of the site. Any advise? I cannot miss this show.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

I just tried purchasing tickets and had no issues.
Try closing your browser and starting over.

  • pacowaka

At what time will we be able to pick up our tickets? Is there a certain time? or will we be able to pick them up at 10 a.m. along with the wristbands?

    • Colleen

you can start picking up tickets at 10am — that’s when will call opens as well as when they will start to disperse wristbands

      • pacowaka

and also I ordered will call tickets and was wondering this: When I go to pick them up at 10 a.m. on Saturday, will I be able to get my wristband at the same time? In the same place? (assuming you haven’t run out of them)

        • Colleen

will call opens the same time as they start wristbanding so yes

  • Taylor Tengwall

Three days after this show, MN will have to decide on a proposed amendment to its Constitution in referendum form regarding marriage. If the amendment passes, marriage will be constitutionally defined as one man and one woman. It would be SO DOPE if Lorin could shout out to vote “No”. Could any MOD please pass the word?

    • Taylor Tengwall

Not only would it be completely a badass, positive addition to an already off the walls show, it has the potential to ultimately shape the outcome of the vote. I’m fairly certain that all 31 similar amendments that have been proposed in other States have passed. Although the Marriage Issue will be ultimately decided in the Courts, Minnesota taking a stand now against this radical, religiously-influenced, and just plain unconstitutional law could light a ‘Fight for Your Rights’ fire in this Country.

  • Tony

Will there be a full bar at the show?

    • Colleen

i can find out for ya, please check back

      • Tony

Thank you, I will keep checking periodically.

        • Colleen

yup all their usual concessions will be out including a full bar

          • Tony

            Thank You!

  • Connor

Any idea what the order of openers would be? I’m coming straight from a concert across the street at First Ave to the show, and I don’t wanna miss Zedd. I assume set times won’t be announced until the day of?

  • natalie

I already got my tickets, but I wanna make sure I get floor seats. how early do you think I should get there to get as close as possible to the stage?

    • Colleen

they start giving out wristbands for floor access at 10am, so you’ll want to be there for that. then as far as getting in line so you can get as close as possible to stage, there’s no way to know in advance how many people are going to be lining up and how early. you’ll have to check out the line and decide when you want to jump in

  • pacowaka

Do people start lining up a few hours before 10am to get their tickets/wristbands? Just trying to gauge a time to get there since we’re traveling.

  • Josh

Need to buy 2 tickets email me at jtpeterson2011@gmail.com for info, thanks.

    • Colleen

tickets are still available for purchase online at the link above “click here for tickets”

  • Brandon

Is there a place inside the show where i can fill my empty camelback? like a water fountain of some sort that iwont have to pay for?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

      Bathroom sink

      • Brandon

okay so they are for sure allowing empty camelbacks into the venue?

        • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

          yes

      • Jenny

camlebacks are for sure allowed in, correct?

        • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

yes. and a full sealed water bottle.

  • Emily

4 bassnheads and I are roadtripping from Chicago to MN saturday and can’t be there in time to pick up wristbands… is there anyway we can reserve them or anyway we can get them ahead of time?

    • Colleen

i’m afraid not — it will be first come, first served beginning at 10am day of show. depending on what time you arrive, there may still be wristbands left. if not, enjoy the view from the balcony! i’ve done plenty of shows from the balcony and always enjoy it.

    • http://twitter.com/CameSawRaged Amy Hoffmann

Chi Town Rep! I fly in at 9:45pm tonight! @CameSawRaged, tweet me!

  • Kiwidavid

I received the email saying that I can pick up will call tickets if i am in the Bassnectar fan club. since i got the email and ordered will call tickets, does that mean I am in the Bassnectar fan club? (I have also subscribed to his newsletter)

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

The fan ticketing is done through Inticketing. Did you purchase through them, or through Ticketmaster? If you purchased early on, when we sent the email, it’s most likely Inticketing (which has since sold out). See your ticket receipt (search inbox for “bassnectar” with “inticketing” or “ticketmaster”, check spam folders too).

      • Kiwidavid

yay it was done through inticketing!

  • Jerry

How likely do you guys think it is that there will still be wristbands at 4ish? Have a prior engagment until 4 and won’t be able to get there until then. Personally, I think this wristband thing is way too complicated.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

Seeing as that is six hours after wristbands start, you may be up higher for this show. Although you still may be able to snag one. Just don’t be bummed if you don’t receive one because the view from higher up is AWESOME.
This is really the EASIEST way for the wristbanding to be given out. It gives EVERYONE a fair chance to get there and secure a spot. There have been other ways tried and this works best.

  • Beau

Why is the world can you have a rage stick at the fargo show but not the minneapolis show… dumbest thing

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Shasta Lee

This isn’t our call. We have to comply with the venues regulations. And the venue for the Minneapolis show just will not allow them. We wish they would though!

  • http://www.facebook.com/trent.gall.7 Trent Gall

Can one person can wristbands for multiple people if we show the tickets?? And can we get at wristband at 10 then come back at like 6 to get a good floor spot?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Each ticketholder must be wristbanded in person, otherwise less scrupulous folks could take the extra wristbands and sell them. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Can I also get my wristband on Thursday when I pick up my “fan club” ticket, or do I have to wait until Saturday like everyone else?

    • Colleen

where did you hear that you can pick up your ticket on thursday? i’m pretty sure you can’t pick up any tickets until saturday at 10am when will call opens

      • Dylan

yeah I also got an email from inticketing saying fan club members can start picking up their tickets on thursday, if I could get my wristband then too, that would be sweet

        • Colleen

ah, i see. yeah, if that’s what the e-mail says then you’re definitely good for tickets on thursday but as far as wristbands on thursday i’m not sure.
          Ed, any idea?

          • Jim

            Any new info on this?

          • Colleen

no, sorry – i would suggest contacting the venue about this, they can probably tell you.

    • Colleen

since they’re allowing in camelbaks i’m assuming they’ll let in small bags/purses as well — let me make sure for you though. please check back

    • Colleen

yup small bags and purses are good to go!

  • Chreeee

    • Colleen

Those are fine as long as security doesn’t deem it to be a threat to public safety!

  • Chreeee

are gloves and other led toys aloud at this show?

  • GANJAguy

ticketmaster forgot to send me my ticket in the mail after i paid for it and said will call won’t open till 5:30 pm will i still be able to get a wristband.

    • Colleen

the box office (will call) will be open from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, you can pick up your tickets at that time and then go for a wristband
they probably told you 5:30 because they’ll be opening up will call again for late-comers

so can you get your wristband and then leave at 10 or are you stuck in the venue

    • Colleen

you can get your wristband and leave. you won’t be able to get in the venue til 6:30 when doors open.

  • Steflow

Any chance i get a floor spot without a wristband?

  • Ben

What a waste of time and money, showed up exactly at 10 am and still didn’t get a wristband. I want a refund for this bullshit.

    • pacowaka

Dude, when it says, “box-office is open at 10am” you need to show up EARLY. Not arrive right at 10am. Besides, i heard you can get a really good view of the whole thing from the stands. It is pretty much a win-win situation.

      • Ben

The fact that I bought these in July and still had to show up the day of and STILL don’t get to be where I wanted, is messed up and some of the worst service I have ever seen. For this reason I am not attending. I also couldn’t care less about the view, I come to these shows to dance, not stand up in some damn nosebleeds and take in the scenery.

        • Colleen

you can dance up there, yo! look at this pic of New Years Eve… those people are raging up in the seats, that’s a basshead mob. http://twitpic.com/ba2fai
i hope you decide to still go to the show! i understand you’re upset but i *guarantee* the show will be worth it.

The demand at Bassnectar shows for floor is HIGH. We warned all fans of this continuously. I’m sorry you weren’t able to receive a wristband, but this is actually SAVE service. If the venue and BN crew allowed everyone that wanted to be on the floor access to it there could be SERIOUS problems. There needs to be enough space for security/medical personnel to get on the floor if something happens. The entire show could be shut down if regulations are not followed.
Regardless, I hope you enjoyed your night!
