Any idea how much the fee will be on the presale tickets? Just trying to figure out how much money I need my friends to send me, so I can buy tickets.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

I think it’ll $32.50 total for one presale ticket. Not seeing any extra fee listed.

      • someone31988

Hopefully that’s true. Usually you don’t see the extra fees until you add the tickets to the cart, which I obviously can’t do right now.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

oops, sorry! i was thinking that if there was a fee it would be $5 or less, so that sounds about right

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

We do have fees on presales but we keep them as low as possible! Definitely cheaper than the alternative :)

          • someone31988

Do you have any info about the venue itself? This is only second time seeing Bassnectar in an arena (first time being in Plymouth), and we had to get wristbands to get down to the main floor there (same thing happened again there with Pretty Lights last fall). Will it be the same type of set up at The Deltaplex?

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

If you have a presale ticket you can collect your wristband at Will Call. For all other ticketholders, wristbands will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.

if i’m not mistaken, this is his first time back to grand rapids since then, and it’s about to pop off. see ya there :)

  • Zack Smith

BASSNECTAR!! Just ordered the tickets! I will be waiting to see you at the front doors with a cup of coffee! My face is overdue of some melting!

  • Jess

So there are only GA tickets? and the presale ticket holders are guaranteed a floor wrist band? Where as if you buy a regular GA ticket the floor wrist bands are first come first served?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

      That is correct.

if i got a pre-sale ticket were i have to go to will call do i automatically get a wristband for the floor?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

if you got a presale ticket then you go to will call and they’ll give you your floor wristband there too
it’ll be pretty obvious/clearly marked where will call is, so you should have no problem. usually right up in the front before you go get your ticket scanned and head into the venue!

      hope this helps

      • Corey Allen

it does. Thank you so much.

  • Chelsea

How do I know if I bought a presale ticket or not?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

What does your receipt say? Presales are from Frontgate, normal tickets are from Etix

      • Chelsea

Etix, so what if I don’t get there in time for a floor wristband?

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

You will have access to the rest of the venue but not the floor. Here’s the floorplan:

  • Hunter

I feel like so many people actually listen to what you say. You point so many in the right direction, just with links of information and such, and ways of life. I hope you come out with a list of things or a blog post that really accumulates this stuff. SO powerful and useful for the youth.

  • TyLatigo

so say im just buying GA tickets how early should i be there to get a floor wristband?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Wristbands are given out at doors, but as to when people will start lining up… who knows? Early!

  • Johnny NECTAR

    Are totems aloud in!!

    • Chris Basscrew

Totems are allowed in as long as they are a reasonable height and not considered a safety hazard to others. Enjoy:)

  • Shea Stine

Are hoops poi and glow sticks allowed?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

GLOW STICKS ARE NEVER ALLOWED. Hoops and poi should be OK as far as I’m aware, but you will have to find out yourself as penance for asking about glow sticks.

      • Shea Stine

I figured the glow sticks were not. was worth asking through. TY

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

It was worth asking if you wanted to be punished by my scornful reply and generally looked down upon as a glowstick wielder!

          • Shea Stine

            What’s wrong with glow stringin!

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Battery operated LED toys are allowed in many venues, but disposable glow sticks are forbidden from all our shows. If you have a non-wasteful re-usable glowstick toy, then give the venue a call and check on their policy:
            (616) 364-9000

        • TheRedHead

          Why not?

  • someone31988

Just out of curiosity, what is the capacity for this show?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

6,500 (not 65,000 as one site is reporting!)

  • WhoKnows?

I lost my license. Is a student ID (with a photo and my name) good enough to pick up my wristband/ticket at will call?

    • Livestreamerr

Nope u need your state I.D and the credit card you bought them with, also the I.D and CC have to be from the same owner and match up

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Please contact the venue, I can’t say whether the below reply is 100% accurate. (616) 364-9000

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

if you’ve got a passport that would definitely work well too if you can hang onto it tight for the night

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Please contact the venue about this directly (616) 364-9000 and ask for the Box Office Manager – and we’d advise you ask them to email you the agreed-upon resolution so you can print it out and bring it to the show.

  • Livestreamerr

I see some people are a bit confused ill try to help clear things up a bit. So in order to get a wristband guaranteed you need to buy you tix at the box office ( meaning you buy your tix at the deltaplex) you will have wristbands with your tickets waiting for you at will call the day of the show. If your purchase your tix ANYWHERE else you will have to wait in line for them. It will b a first come first serve bases and they will start to hand them out at 4pm. Note that if you do wait in line for the wristband u will have had to go through security and give them your ticket and you are not allowed to leave and come back ( once your in, your in ) if you don’t get a wristband u will not have access to the floor and will have to be in the stands due to the limited floor space they have. I hope this helps. – PLUR

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Thanks for offering to help but this info is not entirely accurate so I’m going to edit it down.

  • Molly

I bought two tickets from Etix, does that mean I can go right to will call show my tickets and get a floor wristband?

  • Molly

I bought two tickets online at Etix, does that mean I can go straight to will call and get my wristbands?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Nope only our Presale tickets through Frontgate come with a wristband. See instructions above for wristband collection.

      • Molly

I thought that buying the tickets from the link above would entitle me a pre sale ticket?

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Only presale tickets from Frontgate. Once those sell out we update the link to the normal allotment of tickets.

          • Molly

Well that’s a bummer! I was pumped to have pre sale tickets. I wish I would of know. Oh well, still ecstatic about the show!

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Cool – you can still get a wristband if you get there early! See the info posted above.

We try and make it clear as possible, but some people spread the misinformation that any ticket purchased through our website is a presale ticket. No true. Any ticket purchased through Bassnectar Frontgate ticketing is a presale ticket (and marked as such at point of purchase). Presales sell out fast, you have to be quick on the draw!

Once those are gone we point people to the normal ticket link – in this case, Etix.

          • Molly

Okay, thanks for clearing this up for me. :)I’m so excited, I just hope I get on the floor! I saw bassnectar last at electric forest festival two years ago, i don’t think I could handle sitting in the stands for this show!

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Sounds like you’re going to have a blast either way! Enjoy the show :)

          • Molly

Will do! Thanks for all the help. :)

  • Who knows?

How long do you think the floor wristbands will last!? I know they start giving them out at 4, should I be there then or even before then?!

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

there’s no telling how many people are going to line up and when, if i were you i’d get there before they start wristbanding and get psyched with the other bassheads in line

      • Who knows

Okay thanks! Hope I make it in time!

  • Corey Allen

OMG cant wait. Counting down the days till i come in from chicago!

  • Julie

so if I lost my license, am I allowed to bring the temporary paper license to pick my tickets up at will call?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

you should bring another form of photo ID cuz they need to match you + your name + your face to let you get the tickets. if you could bring the temporary paper license + a school ID or anything with your name and a photo on it, that’d be good! hope this helps.

  • Matthew Jones

I am aware that the presale ticket holders get first dibs on the floor spots and I really regret not getting those. However, is there any word on how many presale tickets were sold and how many more wristbands will be given out to those who show up early for the first come first serve wristband deal? Thanks.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

they’ll give out wristbands til they meet floor capacity, so you could probably call the venue and find out for sure what floor capacity will be for this show, i dont know off the top of my head, sorry.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

There’s no way of knowing how many people will show up early so just get there as early as possible if you really want a wristband!

  • Alex

Okay just a question about the first-come-first-served thing. When we show up do we need to show you we bought the ticket in order for us to get the floor spots?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

you have to have your ticket. 1 ticket = 1 wristband

      • Alex

        okay thanks a ton

  • Keez

So just to confirm if I did not get a per-sale ticket and I want floor access I have to come before stand in line at 4 pm and have to go into venue ?? And I’m not allowed back out? That seems kind of ridiculous

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

wristbands will be given out from 4pm in the adjacent exhibit hall. when you enter this hall your tickets will be scanned and you will have entered the facility — normal rules apply, and there is no re-entry once patron has entered hall.

wristbanding in many cases is the most fair way for us to ensure that everyone has an equal chance at getting floor access if they want it. floor goes to the diehard bassheads who line up first! rage it out in line with them, promise it’s always a good time.

  • Alex

I know you all have explained this over and over but where does it say that Etix is not considered the Presale? and why in the world would they make the doors for that 4 hours before the show

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/mcnee1ce Colleen

presale tickets are our initial allotment of tickets sold through a separate ticketing agency (frontgate) and we make it very clear during on-sale times that we have a limited number of presale tickets available before we go to public onsale with a different ticketing agency (usually a larger one like ticketmaster, livenation, or etix). it’s stated at the point of purchase, on these pages, when we announce on-sale dates on facebook, etc.

doors are technically at 630 and music will start shortly thereafter, but i’m not sure exactly why it worked out with this venue to start wristbanding at 4. i wish i had more answers for ya, but i can assure you we do everything we can to get people in as quickly, conveniently, and fairly as possible.

      • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Yup! Wristbanding starts early so that people can get their wristbands sorted in advance rather than having to wait in a big line to get once the show is already underway.

      • Alex

Thanks! I guess ill just be happy wherever I am! :)

      • Alex

Okay if we show up at 4 and get our wristband are we able to leave or do we need to stay there?

  • Molly is good for you

So ready for this!! I hope it gets sold out. I want it to.be packed!!

  • Parker

so are you able to get a ticket when you get there!

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

You can buy tickets from the link above in advance. Tickets will only be available on the night if it doesn’t sell out in advance.

  • Mike

Abt what time is bassnectar gonna come on and how long is the show gonna go for?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

No set times are announced. The show will go on until midnight or later depending on local curfew

    • Bassfreak2

call the venue day of…if the venue is anything close to legit they will know, i do this before every show i go to

  • Bass in yo face

So if I bought my tickets on Bassnectars website on 7/17, was the considered pre-sale? They weren’t available on ticket master yet.

    • Chris Basscrew

If you bought a ticket from Frontgate, then it is a presale.

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Colleen

Sounds like pre sale. Did you get them through front gate?

  • jesse

What time does bassnectar come on my friend has a extra ticket but I wont be able to make it till around 8pm?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Doors are at 6:30pm and there are two support acts so you should be fine

      • Jesse

So if I just have a paper printed ticket from bassnectars website and I arrive at 8pm will there be any wristbands left for me to get in?

        • Jesse

And it’s not a presale ticket

        • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Colleen

wristbanding starts at 4pm and doors are at 630, wristbands will probably be gone by door time

  • TheRedHed

I got my ticket from etix and is says in bold letters advanced, thats messed up if it doesnt count, advanced should mean what it says

    • miggy

They do this on purpose to screw you classic delta plex move

      • red

Yep, last time I go to a show here, whats a rave band without glowsticks! and wow ur right they screwed me I would have just waited till I was at the door to buy my ticket had I know that, hell I prob wouldnt even have gone at all knowing all the dumb rules

        • Blue

Exactly both the venue and artist do this thats why they dont make it “clear” when the tickets switch like they claim they do because they know no one is going to sit in the stands to watch.

          • red

I know i was reading the comments and the lady is like “others” spread misinfo, yea not others you guys lol. Oh well its already bought looks like ill make the best of it, Im going alone anyways

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Show me ONE example of us spreading misinformation and I will send you a bag of free shit.

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

We try and make it clear as possible in all our promotions and on the Tour page. It’s pretty obvious when the tickets switch to anyone paying attention, as it’s a completely different website without BASSNECTAR branding and you are buying them from a completely different company. Anyway, these aren’t “floor tickets” – our Presales tickets don’t HAVE to come with wristbands, we just arrange that so that people who make the effort to get tickets as early as possible can be guaranteed a space on the floor.

          • EP

thank you sir for doing that!

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

You’re still better off having your ticket before the show, as they might sell out – also purchasing a ticket AND then getting in line for a wristband on the night could be hectic!

        • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Glow sticks are horrifically wasteful and banned from all our shows. We’ll leave that to the “rave bands”

          • red

I respect the good looking out for nature. lol Bassnectar is a rave band, light shows and bass yep sounds like a rave band to me lol. Anyways much love, chillax

          • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

OK you can call Bassnectar a “rave band” if you like, as long as you dont bring glowsticks! Enjoy the show :)

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

Sorry for any confusion – we can’t control the messaging around other ticketing outlets or companies associated with the venue/promoter. Only our own allotment of Presale tickets sold through our partner Frontgate are “bassnectar.net Presales”. If the ticketing page you purchase from doesn’t have a big BASSNECTAR logo up top, it’s not our Presale.

  • pissedofcustomer

So if I go get a wrist band at 4 leave buy another ticket and come back can I then re enter and have floor access?

  • Steve

Okay if we show up at 4 and get our wristband are we able to leave and come back when the show starts?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

No re-entry – see the info posted above

  • jc

How Many official presale tickets were sold?
I just talked to the venu and 2500 will be let on the floor out of 6000 tickets sold.
Just trying to figure out how many of the 2500 are reserved….

  • marty

I bought tickets from shakedown street are they presale?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Colleen

probably not, what ticket agency are they from? our presale tickets were sold online through frontgate

  • Deaterc

Can I have a friend pick up my wristband for me? I won’t be able to get there until 630

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Colleen

each person has to pick up their own wristband, 1 wristband = 1 one ticket per person and it goes on your wrist immediately

  • sylvs

Question.. my friend bought 3 tickets online one is mine but i don’t have an id.. will i have any problems at the door?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net/ Colleen

whoever bought the tickets can pick them all up with ID

  • Andrew Brooks

Quick question about the wrist bands. I ordered mine presale so I get a wristband. My friend ordered hers this week and I’m not set on the whole idea of sitting apart and I not about to sit in the stands, and she can’t get there until 8:00 pm but I can get there whenever. Will I be able to access my will call ticket to give my wrist band to her at 8pm if I use her ticket and get there early to wait on a wrist band at 4pm?

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

I don’t think so as you can not pick up her ticket and she can not pick up yours. You can try name changing but this close to the show it’s unlikely to work out – e.g. for Frontgate presales they are locked down once you are within 24 hours of the show to prevent scalping. Also you would need to contact two separate agencies to arrange the name change as you have two different types of ticket, and so you might get stuck changing the name on one ticket but not the other. You could try bringing all her info, ID, credit card and a signed letter, but there’s no guarantee it will work, and she would need to do the same…

      • Andrew Brooks

So I called will call and got my ticket changed to her name. She has a ticket printed. I’m assuming I don’t Need anything to verify that ticket since it’s printed??

        • Andrew Brooks

Thanks btw Ed, for the quick response!!!!! Can’t wait for the show!!!!

        • Nick Mansfield

^ This would be super helpful to get confirmation on- I’m in the same exact boat. Thanks!

          • Andrew Brooks

****I confirmed with the ticket office. If you have a printed ticket from eTix you DO NOT need an ID to confirm you purchased the ticket. Again, if you have a ticket in hand, the name on the ticket does not need to match the name on your ID! Hope this helps! ****

  • Dezzaroo

The doors open at 6:30, but they’re filling the floor at 4:00? I’m just a little confused.

    • Dezzaroo

I already have my tickets, I just want to be on the floor, not in a seat..

    • http://www.bassnectar.net Ed Basscrew

They are opening up the wristband allocation early so that by the time the show starts it’s long underway and there is not a big crush to get it and delays for people waiting in line.

      • Dezzaroo

yeah, but if I already printed my tickets, do I have to show up early (at 4pm) to guarantee a spot on the floor?

  • sammy

Some one bought the ticket for me with their credit card so it says purchased by some one else and doesn’t have my name on the ticket. Do they check ID with the ticket purchaser there or will I be fine?

  • Basshead

Will there be an area for smokers?

  • Molly

I know that we aren’t aloud to go out after we get our wristbands, will there be a place to go to smoke?

    • jamal

haha there will be sooo much smoking inside the concert! when he was here in lincoln, the whole center was filled with pot and smoke

      • Molly

        Good to know :p

  • hayley

    is it really sold out?

  • Travis

I bought my fix through front gate on July 19 at 1:45am, before the public sale. Am I guaranteed a wristband? I saw on club 104.5 only July 18 tixs get guaranteed wristbands.

  • CANTWAiT!!

Does anyone know what the drink specials will be?

  • KG

I am trying to confirm that when I pick up my tickets at will call I can get the wristbands then…. Also can I get wristbands for both tickets as the tickets are in my name?

    • Chris Basscrew
