Hey Lorin, if there is any way to get ahold you directly, I hope this is it. In 3 months, I will have attained a BA in Audio Production and hoping to go full force into the industry. I currently work in the live sound industry and I can absolutely and positively say that is because of the experiences I’ve had at your live shows. I feel that, as much as I enjoy your shows, that I greatly want to be apart of the same industry that put me where I am today and help create that experience to share what I’ve experience. If there is any way to get into contact with your staging/lighting/audio team, I would very much appreciate the honor of even just applying. I do have skills that would benefit the team and I am as like minded to your music, message and experience that you are. I’m not looking for “I hope Bassnectar gets me hired” but an opportunity to at least show what I have to give and earn my way into living the dream that I hoped for when I attended school and became well-versed in.

To leave you with a quote from a very inspirational man of mine- one that means to me what I see in your spirit, Bassnectar and everything it stands for, is something that I see is positive in this world. Your message is clear and your heart is pure. To say that I’m apart of this culture would be the most incredible feeling to be blessed knowing that I’m helping change the world as well.

“We don’t have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the
process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people,
    can transform the world.”

    Howard Zinn

    Thank you for your time.

These people were definitely touring with you when I worked with you and they are being arrested en masse. I am not going to come back to see if they are gone or not because they were chopping people up, putting them on ice and sending them overseas.

Dude come to chicago please!! We desperately need some bass in our town in light of all the recent gang violence! We need to come together as one. For the love of the music!! ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? just a glimpse of your shows! ???????????????????? LOVE YOU LORIN!

  • Jonathan

Lorin, I would absolutely love to see you live. I missed a decent portion of your show at Tomorrow World due to a Medical Emergency. I live in East Tennessee near Knoxville and we’ve been hoping you’d come back to our area again. Either Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, or Asheville, North Carolina. Sadly, I can’t attend the nearest show in Greensboro, NC due to a time conflict.

P.S. If you do come to the East TN area, please play “You and Me” live. I saw videos of it at Tomorrow World and it makes me sad that I missed it. :/

Please make your way back to Lawrence Kansas eventually! We have been lucky enough to see a bassnectar show almost every year the past 3 years at Midland theater in KCMO, but when he came to Burcham Park in Lawrence Kansas a couple years back it was epic! Lawrence, home of University of Kansas misses you! Please set us up for a show in spring? Garenteeed sell out! 🙂
