BNet Dancefestopia Recap
A BassNetwork Project

Once again the Bassnectar community has had another epic week of announcements and music! Earlier this week our crew announced our NYE spectacular – another 360 event, but of epic proportions!

BNet Dancefestopia RecapThis year Bass Heads will be comin’ from miles around to gather inside the BJCC in Birmingham, AL. We are all extremely excited for this one because it is the largest event the Bassnectar Crew will be hosting to date, but the room is actually smaller than the Bridgestone Area in Nashville!! This means we can all look forward to what feels like massive walls of people nearly caving in on one another – headbanging in unison and truly feeling the highest energy possible! Not only are we excited about taking over a new spaceship, but we have an epic lineup to match! This year we have support artists The Glitch Mob, Paper Diamond, and Psymbionic to help us blast off into the new year!!!

Riding the wave from our NYE announcement, we crash landed in Kansas City, MO for Dancefestopia! Bassnectar hit the stage on Saturday night, and surely showed lots of love for the Midwest! We were blown away by the camping festival due to its location – the heart of KC! It felt amazing to finally return to the city after our pre-Halloween throwdown last year! We want to hear from yall – were you at Dancefestopia? What was your favorite moment? LET US KNOW!!

Doing back to back weekends is always awesome. Saw him throw down at Made in America, then Dancefest. Show #7 of the summer so I was very curious to see what tricks he would pull out of his sleeve… Opening up with the wizard of oz scene into Infinite ROCKED the place! Non – bassheads had no idea what they were in for. Rode the rail at MIA and again at Damcefest- both amazing in their own completely different ways. But that opener was surely the best of the summer. AND HE PLAYED FROG SONG. One of my faves live. Can’t wait for Halloween!
