New Discussion Feature
Almost 15 years ago when I began envisioning the project I now call ‘Bassnectar,’ I had a million questions to ask, and a million thoughts to share. I wanted to create some kind of platform that would enable me to make a positive impact in the lives of others. There were many hypothetical details, many idealistic notions, and still many questions.
I never really conceived of it becoming what it is today, and due to the amorphous nature of my work flow, my creativity, and my oddball personality, I am not even sure where it is headed, but I am clinging along for the wild, wild, wild ride.

We’re excited to roll out our first announcement of support acts for our Winter Run:
Petaluma, Eureka, Eugene, Portland, Seattle
These shows will feature the skills of FILASTINE, a global nomad who specializes in combining traditional world music styles with what basically amounts to sonic anarchy. The result is a very percussive, very explosive journey of creativity. Spring Tour Dates Now on Sale
The Bass Elves have been busy booking shows for our Spring run, and we are rolling out the first round of dates this evening. Bassnectar has been on the receiving end of so much support this year, all I can say is that we are grateful and look forward to giving back even more in 2011!

Bassnectar Winter Tour Dates

We’ve got news for the West Coast Tour, the first lineup announce for Bass Center, and some dates for the South!

WEST COAST!
Just in time for tickets to go on sale, we would like to announce our support acts for all dates from Petaluma up through Seattle: trans-cultural anarchist percussion freak FILASTINE and hip hop tech-step bass maven SUPER DRE!!! We are excited to craft a rich sonic journey each night and these 2 eclectic musicians will do the triiiiiick. 
After a few days of recovery, we head to my home town Santa Cruz Civic Center (the legendary scene of countless late night events back in the 1990′s) for a full throttle bass explosion on Thursday, February 10. Then, we follow up with two nights in lovely Lake Tahoe! This will be our WINTER DOUBLE WHAMMY!!!! A 2 night weekend snow & ski spectacular with special events and afterparties. Both Bassnectar shows at Tahoe’s epic MONTBLEU feature a diverse line up with Friday Night presented by EL CIRCO and Saturday Night presented by NEXUS. Details on afterparties, travel packages, and ski passes will be announced soon!

Bass fans! It’s been SOOOOOO long since I’ve had a chance to put together a good mix for your ears. I finally got the opportunity to do so when the Bassnectar Europe Tour swung through London.
