DIVERGENT SPECTRUM REMIXES
We have been compiling various remixes from the Divergent Spectrum tracklist, and decided to put together a free pack of a few favorites. Keep on the look out for other versions from a multitude of friends and artists as they drop out of various corners the digital sky.
Although it’s intended mostly for DJs (each track is on the harder edge of the spectrum, targeting dancefloors and flash mobs of bass heads who want to rage) we wanted to make it available to anyone and everyone, for free.

VAVA VOOM – GUESS THE TOUR
Very soon we’ll be announcing the dates for our Vava Voom Spring Tour 2012, but first we’re giving you a chance to guess what cities we’ll be visiting and win tickets in the process, with a grand prize VIP trip to our massive Bass Center V event, including airfare and accommodation.

NYE POSTER CONTEST – WINNER
We were truly humbled by the sheer number of entries for this contest. We could not decide on an absolute favorite and left the voting up to you.
The votes have been counted and we are thrilled to present our winner: alphaHawk, who will receive $500 and 2 x VIP tickets to this sold-out show, plus the poster will be immortalized as an official show poster and be made available for sale at the event. There were so many fantastic entries and we definitely encourage everyone to check out some of our other finalists below.
We are thrilled to be playing Nashville for NYE and can’t wait to see all of you there for what will be an historic event. DESIGN THE NYE POSTER!
New Year’s Eve is coming, and we are taking over the musical metropolis of Nashville to usher in the new eon with unparalleled bass explorations. Oh yes.
To celebrate this grand happening, we’re running another poster contest with our friends over at Creative Allies. We want YOU to design an official poster for Bassnectar New Year’s Eve Nashville! The winner will receive $500 cash prize, as well as 2 VIP tickets to this sold-out show.
We want to see some mind-bending designs! Think outside the box and deliver the unexpected. If you need some inspiration or guidance, try to incorporate the a “New Year” theme – beginnings and endings, the passing of time, personal change or looking back through time on a different self. Greetings friends to the north!
We are gearing up for the final leg of our Fall Tour this week; a 4-city blitz of bass in a slightly different format. This is the grand finale of the biggest, heaviest, most insane tour in Bassnectar history, and we have set up 4 central targets for ‘regional event explosions’ – inspired by road trips and bass centers.

NEW YEAR’S EVE – NASHVILLE, TN
The Bassnectar crew is heading to Nashville in full force for New Year’s Eve 2011!
We are beyond excited to return to Nashville, after our last show sold out 4 times over, forcing us to move to the parking lot. The night ended with nearly 5000 freaks outside in the street going bonkers, and we began plotting our return…
To bring in the New Year in proper Bass Head style we are bringing the largest soundsystem ever assembled in The Bridgestone Arena, and creating a true GA venue, which means where you end up in the room will be first-come, first-served.
We are welcoming ALL AGES to this event in the hopes that someone will bring the first ever 100 year old to a Bassnectar event. Bring your grampa and show him your bass face! Everyone deserves music on New Year’s Eve.

DOLLAR PER BASS HEAD – THE RESULTS
The vote is in!
We have ended voting in the first phase of our Dollar Per Bass Head campaign, and are thrilled to donate $50,000 on behalf of the Bassnectar community to some very worthy causes.
We’ve been collecting $1 from every Bassnectar ticket sold to donate to nonprofit organizations that do amazing things to empower education, health or community. For this first phase we set aside $50k of theses funds that you helped raise, and asked you to vote between three organizations that you felt needed the most support, the funds being allocated accordingly – the organization with the most votes receiving $25k, the runner up $15k, and the third finalist $10k.
