  • MoM on a Mission !

My daughter used Molly at your last concert. Couple moths later she was in a mental institution. I’ll do everything within my power to make sure those who care know what you band is truly about !

    • Brennen Labadie

Piss off troll; stop trying to make light of a potentially serious topic.

    • Mom Bear

To be specific …. This was your Nashville Tn New Year’s Eve concert. Where other girls were also ruffied. Your words of, ” keep hydrated and all in moderation ” should be head liner on your stone. St Louis police dept will be at your oct concert. I’m in agreement with many you will never make it there. Moms are watchin!

    • Kyle McCallum

I highly doubt that Molly and Bassnectar caused your daughter to end up in a mental institution. Most likely your shitty parenting skills that drove her there.
Stop trying to blame others for your problems.

      • JustSayNo

To doubt and accuse a parent is the mentality of a head banger, and drug user. In your words, rock on… Share the word of Molly used at the concert along with other drugs. If you would like the facts concerning molly and other drugs, google, ask your parents or your own dr. You’ll then learn the truth of the part of the body effected in your case seems you may have been affected. Police will be watchin!

    • Basshead for Life

I am very sorry to hear about your daughter. But the chances she ended up in a mental institution due to a drug she probably took and thought was MDMA months ago has nothing to do with Bassnectar. I attend numerous Bassnectar shows, and see various DJ’s and Jam Bands and don’t need drugs to have fun. You must do your homework before you claim to know who Bassnectar is and what he promotes. If you go to the link above, you will see he talks about health and safety and is against people using drugs for fun. In all of his interviews he talks about how he doesn’t think people should use drugs for more fun. Just 2 weeks ago he posted on his Twitter and Facebook for people to not use drugs for the Moonrise festival in Baltimore. For you to think he is promoting drug use at his shows is very immature and crazy. Many people do drugs in various places. You know how many parties i have gone to at different colleges and seen the amount of drug use? Do you think colleges should be shut down? People have chose to do drugs at music shows since the 60’s with the Beatles. and if you think Bassnectar is the only artist where people are consuming drugs, then your very wrong. There are multiple artist of all styles of music where people chose to do drugs. Should all music shows get shut down? If a person decides to try a drug at a show, that is he or she’s personal immature decision. Nothing to do with the artist of the show he or she may be at, Im sorry to say you seem like a very close minded brainwashed woman to think the way you do. Bassnectar is a very peaceful and nice human being who would love to see world peace in a safe and healthy world. Selling drugs or telling people to take drugs is the last thing he is doing…

      • HomeWorkDone

I’ve done my home work, concerning Bassnectar. There’s one piticular quote which sticks out amoung many. While he believes to be promoting health telling his bass- heads to stay hydrated, he also states all else in moderation, yes he was specific. You should watch the interview, basically a video for his followers. For any parent to think peer pressure or a DJ/band member/ one who does drugs to be the reason their kid did a drug would be a parent not informed. Mom with a mission isn’t brain washed and does understand the effects of the drug, as it was explained by a Dr. Are you a Dr ? Have you researched the drug? Do you know the mid- south has had a large drug delivery of the pill widely know as “Molly” which is mixed with many other chemicals, causing many who’ve taken the pill to get sick, have what Drs are calling “the new 60s flashback,” and death. There’s noting peaceful about Bassnectar and you’ll find out for yourself in yrs to come when you have a constant ring in your ears. As for litterly speaking to his personality, who he’s. Unless you are him, you don’t know. It’s the USA we all have free will and freedom of speach. To cut a mother trying to save another kid from a horrible reaction to a drug, is a person who may be brain washed and has a lack of concern for another human being ….. So, you’re correct you should be informed. All should be informed of not only Molly but the other “halusinicgens” which are causing bankrupt minds. As for your other questions, ill take it as rhetorical …

  • YoungBrother

I attend light concerts without the use of drugs. With that said, it wasn’t Bassnectar. But my sister cousins her idiot boyfriend &their friends have gone to Bassnectar. My sisters hasn’t been the same since. I pray she doesn’t go to another one of your concerts. Sooner then later you’ll be shut down. Maybe I’ll see in my lifetime a person who calls them-self an artist stand trial for the damage being done to his bass-heads….. You’d be better listed as one of the Top 10 Drug Lords. AUDACIOUS /CARTEL pops to mind with your name, Bassnectar. @kyle mcCallum – grow up! @bassheads – God be with you..

  • Alek Mack

Will camelbaks be allowed into this show?

    • we’ll get word closer to the show and let you know! stay tuned

Bassheads, according to the urban community and Urban Dictionary: Bass head http://www.urbandictionary.com
Would Bassnectar sit with Gene Simmons and Dee Snider to discuss first the name of his followers. (Bassheads) Then the use of drugs to enhance his concerts.

Bassheads, according to the urban community and Urban Dictionary: Bass head http://www.urbandictionary.com-

A person who uses crack. Or some one who has ruined there life by crack.
    “Man you a bass head.”

A person who has a SERIOUS addiction to excessive levels of music in the 20-100hz range while seated in there ride.

One who prefers the attention and pleasure of 130+dB bass inside there ride over the benift of still having working ears beyond the age of 35.

A song by the electronic music artist Bassnectar on his Timestretch album.
    1. Wow listen to those badass beats!
    2. That’s Bassnectar’s song Bass Head.

    Something to think about ….

  • SirWantsToGo

this show is sold out, but there are 133 tickets on stub hub going for (at the lowest) literally double the cost; how is this legal, and is there any way for a couple of fans in CoMo to score some tickets at the reasonable face value price?

  • Danny
