BASS CENTER DONATION DRIVES
Bass Center is rapidly approaching and our team is working around the clock to set up a range of daytime activities and ways to get involved at the biggest Bassnectar production to date!!!
As you may know, at our bigger events we’re always looking for even more ways to give back, and since we are going extra BIG with our CO double-header, we wanted to double up and make the biggest impact possible 🙂
In addition to our collecting $1 from every ticket for our Dollar Per Bass Head Campaign, The Bass Network will be hosting TWO donation drives!
The first will happen on both Friday and Saturday: Ambassadors will be collecting back-to-school supplies in support of the Denver Public School Foundation. These donations will go to more than 90,000 students and nearly 200 of the Denver Public Schools ensuring that these kids will be well equipped to learn and create during the 2016-17 school year!
Items to donate:
– Packs of #2 pencils
– Packs of dry-erase markers
– 3 hole punch wide-rule spiral-bound notebooks
– Packs of colored pencils
For more info about what the Denver Public Schools Foundation is up to and ways to get involved, check out their Raise Your Hand for DPS Students campaign.
Also, you can donate to the Denver Public Schools Foundation here.
The second donation drive will happen on the Sunday after the music winds down and the sun comes up! Ambassadors will be collecting any leftover or recycled camping gear in support of Groundwork Denver, who coordinates thousands of youth volunteers to help clean up their local communities and help those in need.
The collected items will be given to their Youth Employment and Development Program, which spends many weeks every summer camping + working on habitat restoration, trail building, and natural resource management projects with the National Park Service, US Forest Service, and US Fish and Wildlife Service.
Items to donate:
– Sleeping Bags + Pads
– Camp Stoves
– Large Coolers

With 23,000 Bass Heads attending each day, we are hoping to make as big of an impact as possible! So please bring anything you can, whether it’s from home, picked up upon arrival in Denver, or if it’s some money sent from wherever you are – every little bit counts!
